Sandra Higdon is a Registered Nurse, Licensed Esthetician, and Massage Therapist. She received her massage therapy training from the Baltimore School Of Massage, and Esthetician training from the Von Lee School Of Esthetics in Baltimore, Maryland. She then pursued her nursing degree from Anne Arundel Community College.
Sandra started her career in Dermatology 17 years ago, and never left. From the beginning she knew this was her niche. She is also an active member of the Dermatology Nurses Association. She worked at a former Dermatology office for 14 years in Greenbelt, and Chevy Chase Maryland. There she gained extensive knowledge in general dermatology, surgery, Mohs, phototherapy, and cosmetic training.
She came to our practice in 2014 where she is our phototherapy, and photodynamic therapy nurse in our Glen Burnie office. Also, she is our cosmetic nurse in the Weems Creek office in Annapolis where she does several cosmetic procedure like: BBL/photorejuvenation, laser hair removal, Pelleve skin tightening, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. With all her knowledge she strives for the best outcomes and patient care. Sandra looks forward to taking care of you in any of her roles here at Anne Arundel Dermatology.
