Lisa K. Harewood, PA-C

A native of Franklin, Virginia, Lisa K. Harewood, PA-C received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Norfolk State University. She went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Lisa then earned her Master of Health Sciences degree and Physician Assistant certificate from Duke University.

Upon graduation from Duke University, Lisa started her physician assistant career in Internal Medicine and then moved on to Family Medicine where she worked at the Duke University Student Health Clinic and with the Duke University Physician Assistant Program. Lisa began practicing dermatology in 2005. Her clinical interests include dermatologic surgery, pediatric dermatology and the treatment of skin of color.

Lisa is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Lisa lives in Durham with her husband and three sons. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
