Karen Brace is a Clinical Trichologist Practitioner, certified by the American Medical Certification Association. She studied Trichology at the National Trichology Training Institute located in Stockbridge, GA. Trichology is the scientific and biological study of hair loss as it relates to poor diets, environmental and hormonal changes. As a trichologist, Karen identifies scalp and skin disorder, scalp dehydration and other conditions. She is trained to exfoliate the scalp and detoxify the hair shaft.
Karen is also a Licensed Cosmetologist of 21 years and a Cosmetologist Instructor of 6 years, with a certificate as a Pharmacy Technician from Norfolk State University. As a Pharmacy Technician Karen gained knowledge in the effects of medication on the hair, including over 300 medications that are known to cause hair loss. Karen's motto is "healing for the hair." Karen is a mother of four, and resides with her husband and family in Chesapeake, VA.
