Cheryl L. Lonergan, M.D. graduated with honors from Cornell University and received her medical degree from the University of Virginia. While in medical school, she received numerous awards for both academics and patient care and was elected to the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Lonergan completed both her Dermatology Residency and Dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, VA.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dermatology Foundation and the American Society of Dermatopathology, and is Board-certified in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology. Dr. Lonergan is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Medical Center in the Department of Dermatology.
