Dr. Lesley Sutherland is an Annapolis native. She grew up on the Chesapeake Bay and has been an active sailor and boater throughout her childhood and adult life. She is a graduate of Severn School in Severna Park and attended Connecticut College where she was a member of the sailing team. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Her dermatology residency was completed at the University of Maryland.
She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Maryland Dermatology Society. Her interests include acne, inflammatory skin disease, early skin cancer detection and treatment. Her practice focuses on medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Sutherland currently lives in Annapolis with her husband and their daughter. In her free, time she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and being on the water.
