Mercy Viator, MSN, CRNP

Mercy Brown graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Stevenson University in 2008. She worked as a registered nurse (RN) for many years in general medicine in an inpatient hospital setting and then for the Johns Hopkins University Dermatology Group, which was where her passion for skin began.

After ending her time with Johns Hopkins, Mercy worked in surgery, as well as specialized in cosmetic and laser treatments. Mercy then decided to further her education and become a Nurse Practitioner. Mercy attended Simmons University for her graduate degree, during which time she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Mercy graduated with honors with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner via the American Nurses Credentialing Center as well as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Mercy underwent further specialized dermatologic training under medical director Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist Dr. Cheryl Lonergan; along with a thorough surgical dermatology training program under Mohs Surgeon and Dermatologist Dr. Allan Harrington. Mercy is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She is a resident of Anne Arundel County and a proud mother to her son, Alexander. Mercy sees patients of all ages and is looking forward to providing medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology care.
